2014 Cabernet Sauvignon

2014 Cabernet Sauvignon

92/100 rating by California Grapevine: "Medium to medium-dark purplish ruby color; attractive, forward, deep, ripe, spicy, cedary, dark plum, cassis, and black cherry fruit aroma with hints of dried herbs, tobacco leaf, sandalwood, and dark chocolate; full body; forward, deep, red and dark fruit flavors with a rich, plush mouthfeel; full tannin; lingering aftertaste. Very approachable now, though will benefit from three to five more years of bottle aging. Very highly recommended."

9/10 rating by Alder Yarrow: "Dark garnet in the glass, this wine smells of cherry and oak and cassis. In the mouth, cherry, cassis and cola flavors are gripped tightly by muscular tannins and dusted with the sweet vanilla of oak. The wood, while present isn't overwhelming, but does leave slightly drying tannins in its wake. Very good acidity."
